Best 5” Octa-core MTK6592 Phone – OrientPhone A2800 Full Hands-on Review

If you are finding a 5" inch 8-core phone with thin body, this OrientPhone A2800 must be your best choice now. When my first hands on A2800, my first impression is thin, light, and good touching. Below is the full hands-on review of mine:

5" inch, in my personal opinion, is the best screen size for most of apps: neither too big for carrying, nor too small for gaming as well as video watching. This is a white version of A2800. When I unbox it from the package, the first words come to my mind are light and ultra-thin. Not sure about that but it is the thinnest Octa-core one (8.2mm height) in my experiences. Forgetting the screen size, the appearance is also very beautiful. It is more like the combination design of Samsung and iPhone. The four corners and body back choose the design round ones (more like Samsung) while the front design is more like the iPhone series. White version is both well for man and women, but may be better for ladies. What’s more, the weight of 102g is much less than the current flagships like Galaxy Note 3, S5, etc.

Besides the great design, its configurations are prominent. 5" 720P IPS screen, octa-core MTK 6592 CPU. If test it with the third party apps like AnTuTu Benchmark (what I did in the video), you will find that the it has great performance in CPU processing speed, 2D/3D graphic effects, and many other features. The testing result may be different from time to time (mostly are from 26K-28K), in the below entire testing video, the result is 26874. Don’t the meaning of this score? Let’s have a look at the flagships: Samsung Galaxy S4 (27435), Xiaomi 2S (26313), etc.

Based on the octa-core CPU as well as the 5 inch HD screen, this phone can easily run the large games like Modern Combat. You may have watched it in the video, 3D FPS game performance is the very prominent.

In network part, A2800 supports dual SIM cards with both 2G (GSM) and 3G (WCDMA), which are the main stream network all around the world. Generally speaking, this 5 inch cell phone is the best one in the same price range. The gift case is also great.
